                            Home Page

Welcome to the Itse Dugalu or New Toogaloo home page.  We are a branch of the Northern Cherokee Nation of the Old Louisiana Territory under Principal Chief Beverly Baker, alongside SEMO, Kansas (Awiakta), St. Louis, Oklahoma and other districts.  We are emphasizing our work here on Cherokee language preservation, Cherokee culture (including holiday celebration and the telling of old stories to help as a moral compass for our children), the old dancing styles and social support for all of the children of the 7 clans.

We recognize the rights and liberties of all of God's creations and likewise expect the same courtesy returned to us.
