Census 2010
Since the 1700's the United States has conducted a survey of all residents every 10 years. As many of you know this is an important opportunity to communicate to the rest of the United States who you are and other important things about you and your family. The census is private, safe and done for your benefit.
To learn more about the census please visit the following website:

Some changes have been made in the new census that may affect your answers. The census this year will make for the first time ever the opportunity to self identify as more than one race, or tribe. Citizens of the Northern Cherokee Nation of the Old Louisiana Territory are strongly encouraged to fill out the name of their Nation as their tribe. If there are not enough squares to fill in the entire name we have been instructed to fill in the rest outside of the boxes. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE ENTIRE NAME OF AN INDIAN TRIBE IS USED. Abbreviations may be disregarded when the census' are collected.
